Tama sought to give the very first model of their STAR Reserve Series snare drums as much response and sensitivity as possible. If you ask us, they’ve done a pretty excellent job! With a shell made of maple, a slightly sharper Starclassic bearing edge and a Brass Sound Arc hoop with eight tension rods, the TLM145S-OMP snare is able to produce a bright and sensitive sound. To complete this snare, Yamaha fitted Star Tube Lugs and Super Sensitive Hi-Carbon snare wires.
