Shure’s KSM353 by Shure is a premium ribbon microphone that is specifically designed for a clear reproduction in studios and concert halls. The patented Roswellite technology has revolutionised ribbon microphones, which used to be very fragile. This KSM353 is not fragile at all: it is about as durable as a regular condenser microphone. The main difference with a condenser microphone is that this KSM353 is a lot better at picking up low frequencies.

This is a quality of all ribbon microphones, but this KSM353 also has a ribbon motor, which accentuates the bass response without dampening the overall sound. The doubly shielded transformer minimises the sound loss and maximises the output signal, while it reduces magnetic and radio-frequency interference, leaving you with a clear, pure sound that is a perfect reproduction of the original sound source!
