All the way from Chicago and built with exacting precision, the Lakland Skyline 44-02 electric bass boasts the tonal flexibility, punch and clear presence provided by its dynamic pickups. At the bridge, a MusicMan-style Alnico Lakland MM humbucker provides a solid bottom-end refined and balanced by a sweet high-end, while at the neck, a Lakland J-style pickup completes the tonal range whether clean or high-gain. A Lakland LH3 preamp is able to pull out masses of midrange and with great detail, and offers a push/pull volume pot, a pickup blend control, and a cut and boost control to adjust the bass, midrange and treble for a detailed and entirely bespoke sound.
