The Sub 4000 A is an addition to the HK Audio Linear system. Its impressive cabinet contains an 18-inch woofer, allowing for frequencies of up to 31 Hz, and making it an excellent ‘sub-low’ addition to the standard Linear system. Its band-pass design is specially constructed for use with the L Sub 2000 A. Phase-shifting will become a thing of the past. We’re talking about a subwoofer, which means it contains a 1200 Watt amplifier – ideal for large speaker systems!

HK Audio Linear 5 L Sub 4000 A: Applications
You can configure this 18-inch subwoofer in a variety of ways, but it’s primarily designed for two different functions. In combination with smaller systems, you can use it as a sub-low addition. Usually, this would result in a 4-way system that creates a balanced sound across the entire spectrum. With bigger systems, it can be used as a normal subwoofer. Thanks to the 18-inch woofer, the L Sub 4000 A produces excellent low tones, which sound especially good in bigger spaces or in the open air. There is also a built-in crossover, suitable for both mono and stereo signals.
