Built to deliver maximum impact, the refined FGN Guitars J-Standard Odyssey boasts the snug comfort of a curved and balanced ash body topped with Brazilian walnut and coated in transparent lacquer, giving the complex, liquid quality of the wood grain room to shine, while tonal flexibility is assured by a set of three Seymour Duncan pickups set up in a notoriously versatile HSS configuration and a coil-splitting mini-switch.

The J-Standard Odyssey: Masses of Playing Comfort
Using their own Circle Fretting System (or C.F.S. for short), the strings and 22 medium frets form a perfect 90° angle, reducing string-and-fret contact and increasing note definition. Other smart and essential design details include the compound fretboard radius that gradually flattens out the closer it gets to the body, providing a snug grip closer to the headstock and a fluid and fast playability the further you travel up the neck. Meanwhile, no matter how intense your licks and riffs get, this model provides the solid stability of a set of Gotoh machine heads and a modern two-point tremolo bridge.
